Linda Lou Piatt

Linda Piatt, a devoted mother and cherished member of her family, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2026. Born on August 31, 1952, Linda’s life was marked by her unwavering love and dedication to those closest to her.

A woman whose heart was deeply rooted in family, Linda’s greatest joy came from nurturing and supporting her children and extended family. She is survived by her beloved children: daughter Balinda Lay, son Randy Romans, daughter Melissa “Poozer” Lamp, son Lonnie Piatt, and son Jason “JJ” Piatt. Linda’s legacy also lives on through many siblings, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, all of whom held a special place in her heart and whom she held dear.

Linda was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Jim Elder and Mabel Lyon, whose memories she carried with her throughout her life.

Known for her warmth and steadfast devotion, Linda’s presence will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her family was the center of her world, and her love and strength will remain as a lasting testament to the remarkable woman she was.
