Lilyan M. Petrilli

Lilyan M. Petrilli, born on November 6, 1931, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2026.

Lilyan was a graduate of Timken High School and went on to work for many years as a travel consultant. In her professional life, she helped others plan journeys and experiences, and she carried that spirit of care and connection throughout the years. Above all, Lilyan loved her family, and that devotion remained at the heart of her life. Lilyan was an avid bowler and was inducted into the Canton Women's Bowling Association Hall of Fame.

She is survived by her loving son, Mark Petrilli; sister-in-law, Elaine Petrilli; cousins, Patricia (Richard) Becker, Ernest Elias, and Louise Moxley; special best friend, Gaylene Hardesty.

Lilyan is preceded in death by her father, Michael Varkonda and mother, Mary E. Varkonda.

Lilyan M. Petrilli will be remembered with love and gratitude by those whose lives were touched by her presence. Her memory will remain a lasting source of comfort to all who knew her.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Lori Nero, as well as Diane, Jamie, and all of the staff from Meadow Wind Health Care Center in Massillon and Elara Caring Hospice in Akron.
