A proud graduate of Jackson High School, Leslie carried the values he gained there throughout his long and fulfilling life. After finishing his education, Leslie built a successful career as a truck driver for Hensel Paving, where he was known by colleagues for his reliability and friendship. He eventually retired from Hensel Paving, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and dedication.

Most important to Leslie was his family, whom he cherished above all else. A beloved father to his daughters Lindsay Ankrom and Leslie (Josh) Hultman, and his son Jesse Oblisk; former wife, Vicky Oblisk; and brothers, Terry (Lorraine) Oblisk and Steve (Connie) Oblisk. His influence and love extended to his grandchildren, Hailey Oblisk, Tristen Jones, Lia Oblisk, Jesse Oblisk, and Lillian Hultman; and to his great-granddaughter, Julia Oblisk. Leslie’s presence, warmth, and unwavering support were a constant source of strength and comfort for each of them.
