Lamanza L. White

Lamanza L. White born on November 6, 1955, has passed away on September 18, 2026, at the age of 70.

Lamanza lived a life marked by enduring family ties and meaningful milestones. She graduated from McKinley High School in the class of 1973, an accomplishment that remained part of the story of her life and growth. During her life, she worked for Canton City Schools where she was a great influence on many students. Her absolute favorite things to do were to travel, watch Family Feud with Steve Harvey as well as classic Superman episodes, and cheering for her favorite football teams The Cleveland Browns and Ohio State play.

Lamanza’s memory will be cherished by those who survive her, including her loving husband, William White; daughter, TaShowa Thompson; goddaughter, Aleta Gilmore her children Jeyvonn and Arnais; step-children, William White Jr. and Shawnita White. and sisters, Alfreda Brown and Yolanda Brown; brothers, William (Rhonda) Brown and Raven Chambers. Along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. May her loved ones find comfort in the bond they shared with her and in the lasting place she holds in their hearts.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Brown, Sr., and mother, Marva Chambers; sister, Patricia Ann Mitchell-Armour; brothers, Auletti Brown Sr., Harry Brown, Lawrence Brown Jr., and Trent Chambers.

Lamanza L. White will be remembered with love and respect by all who knew her.

Visitation will be held on October 1, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Paquelet and Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Homes, 1100 Wales Rd NE, Massillon, OH 44646. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the same location.
