Krste "Kris" Gagovski

Krste "Kris" Gagovski, 91, went home to be with The Lord on Monday, March 3, 2025. Krste was born September 8, 1934 in S. Brajcino, Macedonia. The son of the late Spiro and Ilinka Gagovski.

He immigrated to the United States in 1965. He retired from Republic Steel Enduro Division. He was very active in the community and very well respected. He was the founder of St Nikola Orthodox Church in Green, Ohio, where he was the first president of the executive board, throughout his life he remained very active.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Dana; his parents, Spiro and Ilinka Gagovski; his brother, Risto Gagovski; and his sister, Danica Mitrevska.

He is survived by his brothers, Metodija (Lena) Gagovski, Vanco (Zagorka) Gagovski and Petre (Blaza) Gagovski; as well as his nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at 11:00am at St. Nikola Macedonian Orthodox Church (5305 Massillon Rd, North Canton, OH 44720), with Fr. Zoran Zdravev officiating. Viewing will take place from 10:00am to 11:00am at the church. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens (3655 Wales Ave NW, Massillon, OH 44646).
