Kay Carpenter

Kay Carpenter, 78, passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2022. Kay was born on September 19, 1943, in Clay Co., WV, the daughter of the late Holly and Clara (Sutton) Ashley. She was an avid Steelers fan. Kay loved listening to Loretta Lynn, and the Statler Brothers. She also enjoyed watching Westerns on TV. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Robert Allen Carpenter, and Larry Douglas Carpenter. He is survived by her sons, Gary Kent Carpenter, Michael Bruce Carpenter, and Kevin Todd Carpenter; grandchildren, Michelle K. Carpenter, Michael Bryan Carpenter, Alysha K. Carpenter, and Alexis Carpenter; and her companion Frank Marschik. There will be no calling hours or services. Cremation will take place. Paquelet Funeral Home & Crematory (330) 833-3222
