Karen S. Steinberg, born on March 8, 1957, peacefully passed away on March 8, 2026, marking the close of a meaningful chapter in her life. A Tuslaw High School graduate, Karen's education laid the foundation for her life. Karen's journey of dedication included working at Kouffman's in Massillon as well as previous service with Wal-Mart. Her professional values were a testament to her strong work ethic.
Karen's warm personality was complemented by her love for cats, so she passionately collected many cat-themed items throughout her life. She found joy in the companionship of her beloved cat, Pye Wacket, who brought light comfort to her days. Additionally, Karen expressed herself creatively through her hobbies, enjoying painting, drawing, and antique dolls. Her artistic pursuits and keen eye for detail reflected the unique charm she brought to those around her.
She is survived her brother, Robert Steinberg, and sister, Sherry Hacker-woods, both of whom cherished her. Karen's spirit will be remembered fondly by her various nieces, nephews, and grandchildren, who will carry her memory in their hearts.
Preceding her in death were her mother, Grace Marie Steinberg-Fender; father, William Steinberg, Jr.; and brother, William Steinberg, II. Their presence shaped the life of Karen and the love she shared with those fortunate enough to know her.
Karen S. Steinberg leaves a legacy of kindness, creativity, and a profound love for the simple joys in life. She will be missed but forever remembered for the love she brought to those around her.
