Joseph J. Lance

Joseph J. Lance age 96 of Massillon passed away Tuesday August 28, 2007 at Country Lawn Nursin Home. He was born May 27, 1911 in Massillon to the late Rosario & Pauline (Nibble) Lance and lived here all of his life. He retired from Massillon Spring & Rivet Co and had worked for the former Griscom-Russell Co. Joe received an honorable discharge from the Army for service during WW II. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Mildred (1995), four brothers and two sisters. He is survived by a sister, Betty Pushon of Massillon. A graveside service will be Friday at 11 AM at Brookfield Cemetery, Fr. Thomas Cebula will officiate. There are no calling hours.
