Johnny W. Stevens

Johnny W. Stevens, 72, born on June 24, 1954, passed away on October 5, 2026.

Born on June 24, 1954, Johnny was a man whose life was grounded in hard work and deep devotion to those he loved most. He worked for many years at Union Metal, where he worked diligently over the course of his career. More than anything, Johnny loved his family, and that love remained at the heart of his life.

He will be remembered with love by his wife of 55 years, Deborah Stevens, and by his daughters, Angela (Rodney) Murphy, Lori Stevens, and Beverly (Josh Everhard) Murphy; grandchildren, John, Brittany, Aaron, Mikayla, Lindsay, Danielle, Ryan, Jordie, and Ace; nine great grandchildren; and sister Linda (Alfred) Foster. His family was a central part of his life, and his presence, care, and love will be held close by those who knew him best.

Johnny was preceded in death by his mother, Betty L. Stevens, and his father, Roy E. Stevens Sr; brother, Roy E. Stevens Jr.; sisters, Brenda J. Foster and Wanda F. Stevens.

Johnny W. Stevens will be remembered with affection and gratitude by his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A graveside service will be held on October 10, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, 2150 Pea Ridge Rd, Oak Hill, WV 25901.
