John "Jack" Wentzel

John “Jack” L. Wentzel, 90, of North Lawrence, passed away June 13, 2026.

Jack was born on March 4, 1936, in Massillon, OH, to the late John and Victoria (Saylor) Wentzel. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Jack retired from Timken Steel after 30 years.

In addition to his parents, Jack is preceded in death by his wife, Judith Wentzel and by his daughter, Kim Eisenbrei.

He is survived by his daughter Kelly Hoagland; grandchild Bryan Hoagland; step-son Seth Hoover (Allison) and Drew Guysick, and son-in-law Wayne Eisenbrei. Jack will also be dearly missed by many other members of the Wentzel family.

Visitation will take place Wednesday, June 24, 2026, from 10 AM – 12 PM, at Paquelet Funeral Home, 1100 Wales Rd. NE, Massillon, OH, 44646, where funeral services will promptly begin at 12 PM. Burial will follow in Brookfield Cemetery, 11400 Shaefer St. NW, Massillon, OH 44647.

In lieu of flowers, donation’s in Jack’s memory may be made to the Stark County Dog Warden.
