JoAnn Noretto, a cherished member of her community, passed away on January 30, 2026, at the age of 68. She was born on June 24, 1957, and raised with steadfast values that guided her throughout her life. JoAnn graduated from Lincoln High School and went on to earn her Nursing LPN from Akron University, ultimately finding her passion as a nurse at the Mercy Ambulatory Clinic, a role she proudly embraced.
A woman of deep affection for her family and friends, JoAnn's warmth and caring nature resonated with all who knew her. She dedicated herself to her loved ones, nurturing relationships and creating lasting memories. JoAnn was especially fond of camping, boating, and fishing. She cherished the time spent in the outdoors, and she especially loved the time shared with her grandchildren—each moment a precious treasure in her heart.
JoAnn leaves behind her loving husband of 45 years, Jeff Norreto. She is survived by her daughters, Megan (Robb) Bickis, Misty Coffey-Noretto, Katielynn Noretto, and Ashley (Alan) Kirkbride; her sons, Robert Noretto and Cody Gilbert; and she was a proud grandmother to Kayonna Cone, Jaylene Cone, Ivan Bickis, Autumn Noretto, and McKenna Bickis, who will carry forward her loving spirit.
JoAnn is preceded in death by her mother, Edna Parsons, and her father, Ivan Parsons. Her legacy will live on through her family who adored her deeply and the many lives she touched through her profession and personal interests.
JoAnn's life was characterized by love, service, and joyful moments, leaving a profound impact on those privileged to know her. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
Visitation for JoAnn Noretto will be held at Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home in Massillon, Ohio, on February 9, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at the same location from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. After services, JoAnn will be laid to rest at North Lawn Cemetery in Canton.
