Joann K. Smith, age 81 of Massillon passed away Monday February 1, 2016 at Affinity Hospital. She was born December 8, 1934 in Massillon to the late Bert & Margaret (York) McElhaney. Joann was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Smith and a son Gregory Hintz. Joann is survived by four children: Donald Hintz, Albert Hintz, Cynthia Conley and Albert Boyd; and a sister Dollie Trew. There are five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Services will be at the convenience of the family.
