JoAnn Grace Fisher, age 87, born on July 27, 1939, passed away on September 12, 2026 surrounded by family.
JoAnn was a graduate of Jackson High School in Massillon. She went on to build a long and steady career as a secretary for RG Drage, where she worked for 25 years before retiring in 2004. She will be remembered most of all for the love she gave to her family, which remained at the center of her life.
JoAnn is survived by her children, Amy (Kurt) Harsh, Kathleen (Todd) Ehmer, Ted Brunker, Jon (Alisha) Brunker, and Scott (Sandy) Brunker; grandchildren, Jerome, Oree, Amanda, Eric, Abby, Raymond, Stone, Shyann, and Hailey; and several great-grandchildren. Her family was a great source of joy in her life, and her love for them will remain a lasting part of her memory.
She was preceded in death by her parents; father, Glenn J. Kessel, Sr.; mother, Kathleen J. Kessel; and brother, Glenn J. Kessel Jr..
JoAnn Grace Fisher will be remembered with affection and gratitude by those who knew and loved her. Her life was marked by devotion to her family, dedication to her work, and a quiet legacy that will continue in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
All are invited to gather for the visitation on Thursday, September 17, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home, 1100 Wales Rd NE, Massillon, Ohio 44646. A memorial service will follow there at 2:00 p.m.
