Jill Ann Griffiths, born on January 15, 1955, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2025. Jill's remarkable life spanned over seven decades, characterized by her deep commitment to family and unwavering dedication to her career.
A proud graduate of Washington High School in Massillon, Jill embarked on a journey that would see her become a cornerstone within the community through her work as a Business Office Manager at The Massillon Independent. With a career that spanned 44 years, she fulfilled her role with passion and diligence before retiring in 2016. Her contributions not only enriched the newspaper but also left an indelible mark on those who had the pleasure to work alongside her.
Family was at the heart of Jill's existence. She cherished her loving spouse, Jerry Griffiths, and took immense pride in her sons, Jason Griffiths, and Joshua (Caitlin) Griffiths. As a devoted grandmother, she delighted in the company of her grandson, Truman Griffiths, and granddaughter, Lena Griffiths, who brought boundless joy to her life. Jill's spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of her loved ones. Jill is also survived by her brothers, Richard (Dena) King and Keith (Diane) King, who shared many fond memories that they will hold dear.
She was preceded in death by her father, Gilbert King, and her mother, Wanda King, whose love and guidance influenced her profoundly.
Jill Ann Griffiths leaves behind a legacy filled with love and cherished memories, reminding all who knew her of the importance of family and the impact one dedicated person can have on countless lives. Her kindness and warmth will be missed but remembered always.
