Jetta Shanklin

Jetta Shanklin, 85, of Massillon, Ohio passed away following a brief illness on December 1, 2023. Jetta was born on November 10, 1938, in Charleston, West Virginia to the late Arden and Oma Thomas.

She retired from Reiter Dairy and was very active in the retirees club. She enjoyed crafts, sewing, and baking the best pies.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her nephew, David Cross and brother, Philip Thomas.

Jetta is survived by her husband of 31 years, Gary Shanklin; children, Wesley (Kimberly) Shahan, Bobbi Shahan, and Alice (John) Coffman; step-children, Beth (Stephen) Finney, and Todd Shanklin; grandchildren, Justin, Lona Paul, Aidan and Holly; 2 great-grandchildren; siblings, Judy Fornash, Carol Cross and Michael Thomas, Jr.; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am Thursday, December 7, 2023 at Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home. Her Funeral Service will be held Thursday at 11:00 am with burial to follow at Brookfield Cemetery.
