Jerry W. Singer

Jerry W. Singer, 82, of Canton, Ohio, passed away peacefully following a lengthy illness on May 16, 2025. He was born on October 21, 1942 in Massillon to the late Willis and Velma (Tesch) Singer.

Jerry grew up in North Lawrence and was a 1960 graduate of Massillon Washington High School. He worked as a machinist for R.W. Screw Products for 37 years until his retirement. After retirement, Jerry stayed busy. He enjoyed working with his hands and finding new things to do. Jerry was well liked and enjoyed spending time with friends and family.

In addition to his parents, Jerry is preceded in death by his son, Jeff Singer; and his sister, Evelyn Neil.

Jerry is survived by his life partner, Shirley (Raycheck) Miller; son, Joseph Singer and Jason (Crystal) Miller, who was like a son to Jerry; He was grandpa to Peyton and Branded Miller; siblings, Thomas (Helen) Singer and Kathy (Tom Evans) Mohler; he is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

At this time no services will be held, per Jerry's wishes.
