Jeffrey David Mamula, age 73, of Massillon, Ohio, passed away on August 11, 2026. Born to Michael and Nina Mamula, Jeff was a gregarious man with a larger-than-life personality and a gift for storytelling. He loved good food, good conversation, and most of all, the simple joy of being surrounded by people he cared about.
Jeff had a deep love for the outdoors and especially enjoyed fishing and hunting. One of his most treasured traditions was spending summers in Canada, where he returned year after year to fish from his boat "The Snack Machine" and create core memories with his family and friends. Those summers became more than trips-they were a part of his life that his family will carry with them always.
He took great pride in his children, stepchildren, and grandchildren. He is survived by his two daughters, Lindsay, and her children, Owen and Olivia, and Jessica, and her husband, Zach. He is also survived by his two stepsons, Tony and his wife, Marissa, and their children, Nina and Bruno, and Gregory and his wife, Kathilyn, and their children, Martin, Joseph, and Richard. He is also survived by his siblings, Jim Mamula and Jim Burns.
Jeff will be remembered for his unmistakable personality, sense of humor, love of Pittsburgh Steelers football, and especially the pride he felt in being a father, stepfather, and grandfather.
His family will honor him with a private celebration of his life where they will gather to remember Jeff, share stories, and celebrate the memories that will remain long after his passing. In lieu of flowers and in honor of Jeff's love of the outdoors, the family requests a donation be placed in his name to the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation.
