Jeffrey A. Knerr

Jeff Knerr, 53, of Canton, Ohio, passed away on May 26, 2026. Jeff was born on November 9, 1972, and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Jeff was a proud father, husband, son, brother, grandfather, family man, and friend. He is survived by his loving wife Shannon Knerr, his five children: Danny March, Jeffrey Knerr (Sierra Carson), Deveni Huff (Jordan Huff), Jada Knerr (Jhayden Johnson), Skylar Knerr and step-daughter Kennady Murphy. His parents Rose (Jeff) Jett. His siblings Christel Knerr and Michael Knerr. He also leaves behind his five beloved grandchildren: Knox, Ronan, Mason, Arlo, and Kyziere, who brought immense joy to his life.

Jeff is preceded in death by his grandparents Albert (Doris) Fichter, Joe (Treva) Cottrill, and his niece Faith Toth

Jeff proudly served his country in the United States Navy in the Seabee Construction Battalion. He carried that same hardworking spirit and strength throughout his life.

He found happiness in the simple things — fishing, golfing, cooking, drawing, and spending time outdoors. Jeff had a creative soul, a caring heart, and a love for family that will never be forgotten. Whether he was sharing a meal, telling stories, or enjoying nature, he made lasting memories with those around him.

Jeff’s presence, laughter, and love will be greatly missed, but his memory will live on through his children, grandchildren, wife, family, and friends.

A memorial gathering will be held at Paquelet Funeral Home on Sunday May 31st. Calling hours will be 11:00AM - 3:30 PM and Funeral Services will be 3:30 PM - 5:00PM
