Janice Hanley

Janice Hanley, 67, of Canton, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on April 25, 2026. She was born February 11, 1959.

Janice was a kind soul. She loved to make people smile. She believed in her unwavering faith to brighten her days. Janice enjoyed woodworking and crafting. She would make things to give to her family and friends. She loved fishing, being out in nature, and photography. Her passion was poetry. She won first place in The Sounds of Ohio contest, and had her poetry published. She also loved playing video games—of which Frogger was her favorite.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Hanley and Bonnie Hanley, her sister Jo Fisher, sister-in-law Susan Steppenbacker, and nephew Robert Carosielli. She is survived by her sisters Peggy Hanley and Romona (Leonard) Carosielli, her brother Robert (Gwen) Hanley, brother-in-law Jon Fisher, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews who will deeply miss her.
