Janet Brunner, like her beloved grandmother Elizabeth Andrasik, passed away at the age of 83, peacefully in her sleep.
Janet was a sprite of energy, channeled during her childhood into award-winning work, then later in life into her immaculate home garden.
She was preceded in death by her cherished husband, James Brunner; her beloved parents, John and Betty Andrews; her caring aunts, Sue Casady and Mary Chani; and her dear brothers, James Lynn and John Lee Andrews.
Janet was passionate about her family, ever eager to prepare for them recipes from her Slovak cookbook, as well as a choice few shared by her longtime coworkers at ECCO Manufacturing.
She was deeply proud of her children, Wendy (Jerry) Macher, James (Michelle) Carlisle, and John (Jody) Brunner; her grandchildren, Arielle, Aaron, Nathan, Christopher, James, Corey, Aidan, Madison, Logan and Reagan; and her blessed great-grandchildren, Talia, Adiva, and Jaxson.
Janet will be interred alongside her husband at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville, Ohio.
A celebration of life gathering for friends and family will take place at her home in Massillon on Sunday, July 20th, from 2 to 4 pm.
Additionally, a Catholic Mass will be said in her memory at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Massillon on Sunday, July 27th, at 10 am.
