Jan J. Jacobsen

Jan Jacobsen, 63, of Canton, passed away on July 30, 2025. He was born on October 18, 1961 to the late Alfred M. and Eleanor M. {Piatt} Jacobsen.

In addition to his parents, Jan is preceded in death by his sisters Cheryl L. Jacobsen and Alana L. Cappellari, nephew Brian Henderson and daughter-in-law Christina Jacobsen.

Jan is survived by his loving sons Janson (Tricia), Josh (Charley) and Jacob (Emily) Jacobsen; granddaughter Juliet Jacobsen; sisters Thelma (Ronald) Visi, Phyllis (Steve) Sikora, Dawn (Ken) Gardner and Reni Shaheen; brothers, Al (Chris), twin brother Jon, Bill (Violet) and Todd (Patty) Jacobsen; mother of his boys Kim Jacobsen; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Jan loved cars, and that passion led to ownership of his own detailing business, The Detail Doctor. He enjoyed watching sports, his favorite TV shows like Dark Shadows, and shopping on eBay. Above all, Jan's family meant the most to him.
