James D. McHenry, Jr.

James D. McHenry, Jr., 66, of Massillon, passed away on February 12, 2026 at home.

He was born on April 5, 1959 to the late James and Leilani (Potter) McHenry in Massillon, OH.

James was a jack of trades, but his favorite skill and job was cooking. He liked to go fishing. James was a huge fan of the Massillon Tiger's and the Cleveland Browns. He loved the spend time with his grandchildren.

James is survived by his loving son, Nicholas (Brittany) McHenry; grandchildren, Troy McHenry, Jericho McHenry, and Alexus McHenry; and siblings, John McHenry, Karen McHenry, Mark McHenry, David McHenry, Cathy Blink, and Lisa Cammel.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Monica (Fitzwater) McHenry.
