James Christopher Alexander

May 1, 1932 — January 31, 2014

James C. Alexander, age 81 passed away on January 31, 2014. He was born in Massillon on May 01, 1932 to the late Christopher and Tressie Alexander. He was a 1950 graduate of Washington High School. He married Barbara Barcus on October 24, 1953 sharing 60 years together until his passing. James proudly served his country during the Korean War. Following his military he ran several businesses including a dry cleaners, a beauty shop, a drive thru -carry out and rental properties. He took great enjoyment in taking care of his yard, traveling, tasting wine and playing the stock market. James will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who will be missed. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children; Jimmy (Fran) Alexander and Barbie (Mike) Moeglin; 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Bill and Don; his sisters Betty Ann, Mary and Lois. A Funeral Service will be held at the Chapel at Rose Hill Memory Gardens at 11 AM on Tuesday, February 04, 2014. Paquelet Funeral Home & Crematory – 330-833-3222
