Herbert 'Ace' Crable

Herbert “Ace” Crable, age 77, passed away July 5, 2007 in Affinity Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was bon June 21, 1930 to Elizabeth Crable and John DeVaul. A former Massillon Tiger standout, Ace as he was affectionately know, graduated in 1948 and briefly attended Florida A & M. He retired in 1985 from Republic Steel after thirty five years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Ronnie Crable. He leaves to cherish his memory one son, Lerry Crable of Massillon, two daughters, Jene Morris of Columbus and Holly Tuner of Canton, a foster child Kobe Sunderman (known as little crabe) of the residence, nine grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 11, 2007 at 1:00 PM at Friendship Baptist Church, 920 Third Street SE, Massillon, Ohio, Pastor Reginald Hye, officiating and Pastor Walter Arrington, co-officiating.
