Henry "Hank" Crenshaw

Henry Crenshaw, the seventh son of the late James and Emily (Stewart) Crenshaw, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2026, at Mercy Medical Hospice Center.

Henry was born on November 15, 1950, in Massillon, Ohio; Henry was very proud of his “Scorpio” sign. He was a 1968 graduate of Washington High School. Henry was a veteran of the United States Navy and served our country during the Vietnam War as a Storekeeper for the Navy.

Henry had many jobs throughout his life, but being a long-distance truck driver was his passion. He retired in 2016. He loved to cook, watch the Food Channel Network, and Divorce Court! Each January, Henry began planning what he would plant in his upcoming garden, however variations of hot peppers were a nonnegotiable “must- have”. Henry’s cabbages were the size of basketballs!

In addition to his parents, Henry is proceeded in death by his first wife, Carolyn (Massey) Crenshaw; brothers Eddie Crenshaw, Leonard Ray Crenshaw, and Louis Crenshaw.

He is survived by his wife, Pamela (Crockett) Crenshaw; stepsons, Arnell Massey and Tristan Brown; siblings Richard Crenshaw, Barbara Marsh, Sherry Jackson, Stanley Crenshaw, and Rhonda (Slyvester) Morgan; sister-in-law Angela Mitchell, brother-in-law, Tristan (Andrea) Mitchell. Henry will also be missed by his best friend, Gary Purnell, as well as many extended family and friends.

A special shout out to Seith Toney and Chauncy Johnson; they made up the back-yard brothers!

Visitation will take place on Thursday, September 3, 2026, from 4 – 6 PM, at Paquelet Funeral Home, 1100 Wales Rd NE, Massillon, OH 44646 with funeral services beginning at 6 PM. Inurnment in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery will be announced at a later date.
