Helen M. Fox

Helen Marie Fox, age 97, ran into the loving arms of Jesus on Saturday, September 13, 2025. Helen was born the daughter of Charles C. and Myrtle A. Meyers on August 3,1928 in Massillon, Ohio. At the age of 10 she went to live with her Aunt Ellie and Uncle Bill to help care for Ellie.

Helen started working at the Sugar Bowl in Massillon as a young lady and worked there for many years. In 1985, Helen and her husband, James H. Fox were married. They were married 35 years before the passing of Jim in August of 2020. Helen attended and served at First Baptist Church until she moved to New Philadelphia, Ohio to be closer to her nieces in 2020.

Helen is survived by “her girls.” Her nieces, Vicki Dawson, Connie Croft, and Jodie Rowan, and great-nieces, Joanna Yoder, Angela Schlabach, Leslie Brown and Terri Mazarakis. She’s been blessed with 9 great-great nieces and nephews and 12 great-great-great nieces and nephews whom she loved and enjoyed.

Helen was also preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers: Clarence, Raymond, and Edwin Meyers and a great-great-great infant niece, LaRya Adams.

A private graveside service will be held.
