Harry William Caldwell

Harry W. Caldwell, 91, of, Massillon, passed away on Monday, January 30, 2017 at the Inn at University Village. He was born on November 28, 1925 in Akron, Ohio to Benjamin Franklin and Rose (Brugger) Caldwell. Harry proudly served his country in the United States Navy and was a Sea Bee. He married Ruth Brinker on September 27, 1946. They shared 70 loving years together. He will be deeply missed by his wife Ruth; daughters, Harriet and Candy; 6 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren. Harry was preceded in death by his daughter, Robin Sue Caldwell and his siblings. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 2, 2017 from 10-12 pm at the Paquelet and Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home with Fr. Ed Gretchko officiating. Funeral service will follow at noon. Burial will take place following the service at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens where military services will be held.
