Gladys J. Summers

Gladys J. Summers, 99, passed away at home surrounded by her family, on May 3, 2016, following a brief illness. She was born in Pennsboro, WV on June 14, 1916 to the late Addison W. and Nancy E. (Cornell) Tunning. Gladys was full of life and energy. She loved to help others and was always willing to share her advice if asked. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Beckelhimer; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Orval A. Summers; son, Harold; sisters, Faye, Gaye. Minnie and Lennie; and brothers, Guy, Harvey, Ralph and William. A private graveside service will be held. Interment will be in Brookfield Cemetery.
