George M Jones

George M. Jones, Jr., 54, of Massillon, passed away suddenly on August 9, 2025 at his home.

He was born on January 27, 1971 to George and Nancy (Selig) Jones Sr. at Canton, OH. He was a 1989 graduate of McKinley Senior High School. George was employed in the Logistics dept for Metallus in Canton, (formally Timkin), where he worked for 28 years.

He is survived by his mother and step-dad, Nancy C., and Frank Esway of Perry Township. His father; George M Jones, Sr. of Malvern, his two sisters and brother-in-laws; Jennifer (Jones) and Lee Hlavacek of Perry Township, Becky (Jones) and Kevin Masters of Malvern, and by his nephews; Chase and Lucas, and his niece; Channing.

George had a great love of music and guitars. After taking up the hobby playing guitar, he became quite the musician.

George will be dearly missed by his family and best friend; Mike Ciconte and family, and his bestest companion; "Sadie Girl".

As per George's wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no services. His immediate family will celebrate his life privately at a later date.
