George E. Hitchcock age 87 of Canton passed away April 25, 2015 at Altercare of Navarre. George was born February 8, 1928 in Scio, OH to the late Paul & Olive (Bundy) Hitchcock. He served two years in the US Navy and received an Honorable Discharge. George retired as a mechanical engineer for the Timken Company. He is survived by his wife Martha Hitchcock and two daughters: Debbie Murrer and Sharon Buttery. Services were held April 29, 2015 at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
