George D. Rimel

George D. Rimel age 50 of Massillon passed away Wednesday August 25, 2010 at Aultman Hospital. He was born May 21, 1960 in Bellaire, OH to the late Gilbert & Marcella (Henthorne) Rimel and was raised in East Greenville. He lived most of his life in Massillon. George was employed in maintenance at Fibercorr Mills where he worked 75 + hours a week and loved every minute of it. He was a social person who put his children first. Hunting and fishing were his favorite pastimes. He was preceded in death by a sister Rose Garrett and two brothers, Danny Rimel and Gilbert Rimel Jr. He is survived by two daughters: Beth (Charles) Huddleston of Orrville and Crystal Rimel with the US Army, Ft. Jackson, SC.; a brother William (Paula) Rimel Sr. of Orrville and his fiancée Debra Brunker of Massillon and her children: Amanda, Eric and Raymond. Services will be 10 AM Friday at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. Friends may call Friday from 9 AM until the time of the service. His final resting place will be Pleasant View Cemetery.
