Gary Moles, 78, of Massillon, passed away on February 27, 2025.
He was born at home on August 4, 1946, to the late Robert and Ruth (Myers) Moles in Stark County, OH.
Gary graduated from Marlington High School in 1964 and served in The United States Airforce from 1965-1969. Upon his return he began his 41-year career, with Ohio Bell retiring in 2010 from AT&T. Gary was a loving partner, proud father, and grandfather. A loyal friend who was always willing to help anyone in need.
Gary was a man of many talents. The greatest of these was making the impossible, possible. He provided these skills free of charge to his friends and family by moving barns, fixing any household emergency at a moment's notice, providing meals for those in need. In his free time, you would find him in his shop woodworking, repairing motors, creating one-of-a-kind solutions where others could only see the problem. He used these skills to volunteer with the Boy Scouts of America, helping shape the lives of countless young men for over 40 years. He also gave of himself as a regular blood donor with the American Red Cross.
Gary is survived by his loving partner, Jo Ann; children, Mark (Laurey) Moles and Cindy (Lance) Weirick; grandchildren, Michael, Andrew, Kaylin, Tyler, and Jessie; and a sister, Faye Martin.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Roberta Wolf, Neil Moles, Richard Moles, and Karen Moles
