Frank John Minocchi

Frank John Minocchi, 82, of Perry Township, passed away on Friday, May 23, 2025, with his family by his side. Frank was born in Canton, Ohio on October 30, 1942 the son of the late John and Mary (Colasurdo) Minocchi.

Frank was a lifelong resident of the area and a 1960 graduate of McKinley High School, where he succeeded in football, track, and wrestling. Frank worked as an insurance agent for many insurance companies, his last was with A.I.G. He excelled with the companies, and won many awards. He also operated a catering and concession business. Frank ran the fish fries at both St. Joseph and St. Mary Catholic Churches. He was a member of K of C 3rd and 4th Degrees, President of the PTO and Athletic Director at St. Mary's in Massillon, Board of Hospice in Canton, and a 15 year volunteer at Mercy Medical Center. He was also President of CCHS Band Parents, and CCHS Concession Manager for over 30 years. Frank loved to cook. He was a member of St. Joseph's in Massillon.

He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy Minocchi, with whom he shared 55 years of marriage; son, Joseph (Carrie) Minocchi; grandchildren, Dominic, Carmela, Gabriella, and Christopher Minocchi; brother, Joseph Minocchi; daughter-in-law, Devon Minocchi; and God Children, Deborah (Joseph) Pileggi, and Matthew Blogna.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Daniel Minocchi.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2025 from 6-8 pm at the Paquelet Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025 at 10 am at Divine Mercy Parish (St. Joseph Catholic Church).
