Frances 'Fritz' Mercer

Frances ‘Fritz’ Mercer age 63 passed away Monday In Akron as the result of an automobile accident. She was born February 9, 1944 in Massillon to the late Leo & Ruth (Moore) Fisher. Fritz was a 1963 graduate of Central Catholic High School. She was employed at the Western Reserve Behavior Center as a computer programmer. In addition to her parents a sister, Patricia Haag passed away in 1991. She is survived by her husband Robert L. Mercer Jr. of Plain Twp. In addition there are two step-daughters, Greta Ryan of North Canton & Heidi Mercer of Washington; two sisters, Elizabeth (Lou) & Loy Creighton of Bel Aire, MD, Barbara & Robert Seeds of Navarre; a brother, J. Michael & Lori Fisher of Carson City, CA. Funeral services will be 10:30 A.M. on Saturday at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon, Fr. Robert Kaylor will officiate.
