Eva Bowman

Eva Maye Bowman, 90, of Massillon, passed away on May 20, 2026 at Amherst Meadows.

She was born on September 19, 1935 to Glen and Ruth Bettilyon in Henderson, CO.

Eva worked in healthcare for approximately 50 years, working for Massillon City and Doctor's (Affinity) Hospital. After work, she enjoyed watching the evening news and soap operas, especially Days of Our Lives and General Hospital. Eva was considered a "fashionista" by friends and family, always ensuring her appearance and dress were impeccable.

She was married to the late Clyde Bowman of Massillon.

Eva is survived by her daughter, Sandra Lawson Lende, and son, Daniel Lawson. She was also a grandmother and great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde; her father, Glen; and brothers, Alonzo "Sonny" Bettilyon, and Bruce Bettilyon.

Services will be held by the family at a later date.
