Eugene F. Strader, Jr.

Eugene F. Strader, 69, of Massillon, passed away unexpectedly on May 25, 2025 at home.

He was born on November 21, 1955 to the late Eugene and Buena "Jackie" (Feddon) Strader in Canton.

A 1973 graduate of Washington High School, he worked 30 years for Everhard Products. He was a veteran of The United States Navy. Gene was dedicated to his friends and family. He loved to camp, and vacation in Florida. Gene loved to play pool, euchre, and soft ball. He was inducted into the Stark County Amateur Sports Hall of Fame, for his help in forming the Massillon Pool League.

Eugene is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Yvonne (McGuire) Strader; their children, Israel (Melissa) Strader and Spring (Damon Marshall) Strader; grandchildren, Corey (Macy) Strader, Jordan (Skylar Timmerman) Strader, Haley Marshall, Andy Strader, DJ Marshall, and Damontae Marshall; great-grandchildren, Adalyn and Jenson Strader; and siblings, Clay (Kerin) Strader, Dan (Karen) Strader, and Rhonda (Kevin) Boyd.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 1, 2025 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm, at Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home, Massillon.
