Ernest Allman

Ernest J. Allman, age 90 of North Lawrence, died Thursday evening at Shady Lawn Nursing Home. He was born in Massillon on December 20, 1915 and was the son of the late John E. & Mary Allman. He was a lifelong area resident. He retired from the former Banner Chevrolet in Orrville, Ohio and was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army. He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Allman in 1995, his son John Allman and 7 siblings. He is survived by his daughters and sons in law, Cindy & Jeff France of Massillon and Debbie & Herbert Bricker of Massillon, his sons and daughters in law, Dave & Judy Allman of Barberton, OH and Tim & Nancy Allman of Massillon, sisters Alberta Moyer and Dolly Frantz and brother Harvey Allman all of Massillon. Friends may call at the Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home on Monday from 6-8 P.M. with his pastor, Mark Oster having a prayer at 8:00 P.M. Cremation will follow.
