Erma Jean Getz

Erma Jean Getz, 82 of Massillon, passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2013, following an extended illness. She was born in Alliance on July 30, 1931 to the late Harry & Nellie (Henry) Zimmerman. Erma was a graduate of Washington high School and retired from Ecko House Wares. She was devoted to her family and close friends. She is survived by her son Gary Getz of Tallmadge; two daughters Lou Ann (Joseph) Kosap of Canton and Debi Wissmar of Massillon; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and a sister Terrolene Henry of Massillon. Erma is also preceded in death by her grandson Jamie; three brothers Jake, Clarence and Ed, and a sister Lois. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
