Elonza Leonard Zedaker

Elonza Leonard Zedaker age 79 of Canton Township passed away Wednesday at the home of his daughter. He was born November 16, 1927 in West Virginia to the late Samuel & Lena (Wilson) Zedaker. Leonard served in the US Army and spent 9 years in the Merchant Marines. He lived most of his life in Massillon and retired Eaton Corp. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sons: Michael and Lenny Zedaker. Leonard will be forever in the hearts and mind of his children and loved by those who surrounded him. He is survived by a daughter and son; Rachael (George) Popa with whom he made his home; and a son Jeffery (Belinda) Zedaker of Navarre. Grandchildren: George Popa, Samuel Popa, Rachelle Hemperly, Erica Jewell, Hollie Kuhlins, and Jackie Zedaker. Great Grandchildren: Nadia, Evie, Wesley, Marshall, Mason and Blaze. Graveside service will be announced later. His final resting place will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman.
