Doris Mae Snyder

Doris Mae Snyder, 100, of Massillon, Ohio, passed away May 1, 2026. She was born on May 16, 1925 to the late Leo and Veronica Schultz.

Doris attended Massillon Washington High School and remained a Massillon Tiger Football fan. Doris was a proud volunteer for 25 years at Massillon Community Hospital. She was an award winning golfer and avid bowler. Doris loved to shop, and always made sure her clothes and makeup looked perfect. On February 25, 1946, Doris married the love of her life, Frank Snyder, and the two shared many wonderful years together until his passing in 2012. She was a loving mother, who always put her family first. She will be missed dearly by her loving family.

In addition to her parents, Doris is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank; and sisters, Hazel Eisenbrei and Leona Doyle.

She is survived by her loving son, James (Mary) Snyder; sister, Shirley Graybill; grandchildren, Julie Figurella and Jennifer Hauck; nieces and nephews, Vickie Coyne, Wendy Crisp, and Gregory Eisenbrei; and her beloved companion, CupCake.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at 1:00pm at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
