Donald R. Hamberg

Donald R. Hamberg, of East Greenville, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2016. Don was born in Decatur, IL the son of the late Fred and Audrey (Montgomery) Hamberg. He was a United States Navy veteran. Don worked for Flemings Food as a supervisor and retired after 30 years of service. He was a member of the Eagles #190 and the American Legion Post #221. He is survived by his wife Merrieann (Farris) Hamberg, whom he married on October 26, 1990; son Jason (Elizabeth) Persinger; 5 grandchildren; sister Shirley Bartlemay; and sister-in-law Nancy (Doug) Farver.
