Dolores Fisher

Dolores Fisher age 88 of Massillon passed away Tuesday Sept. 5, 2006 at Amherst Meadows Nursing Home. She was born Feb. 20, 1918 in Massillon to the late Harold & Nellie (Yager) Smith. Dolores was a 1937 graduate of Mt. Marie Academy. She had been a waitress at many area restaurants; Acme Dairy, Howard Johnson, Family Fare, and Charlie Brown's. Additionally she worked at Vogue Dry Cleaners in downtown Massillon. Her working career was spent with the public; her great smile and pleasant demeanor will be missed by all the lives she touched. She was a past president of Ladies Auxiliary of VFW #3124. In addition to her parents her husband Clifford Fisher Sr. passed away in 1959, and a son Clifford Fisher Jr. in 1994. She is survived by three children and spouses: Wayne & Betty Fisher, Sally Zimmerman, and Linda & Richard Green. Sister & Brothers: Walter Smith, Dorothy Converse, and Roland Smith. Additionally there twelve grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and many great great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 AM Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Massillon.
