Dimitry "Dee" Ivan, 87, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2026. Born on January 29, 1939, Dee was a lifelong resident of Massillon and graduated from Washington High School in 1956.
She married her husband Robert Ivan Sr. two years later, and they were married for 66 years before his passing in 2024.
She is survived by her sons, Robert (Marie) Ivan Jr. and Kirk (Ginger) Ivan; her grandchildren, Trevor Ivan, Sarah Ivan, Owen Ivan, and Noah Ivan; her sister, Mary Henry; her sisters-in-law Rosemarie Earl & Elaine (Charles) McGraw, her brother-in-law Kenneth (Barb) Ivan, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and several lifelong friends. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother who died in infancy and her parents George & Tsveta (Stravoff) Vassilloff. She would often share stories of her early family life growing up in the Columbia Heights neighborhood of Massillon.
