Diane (Vickie) Tanner

Diane (Vickie) Tanner, 68, of Massillon, Ohio, passed away February 17, 2026. She was born on October 24, 1957 in Dunn, North Carolina to the late Harold and Berlene Turner.

Diane was a devoted Christian, who believed deeply in her faith. She was an avid gardener, and loved flowers. She loved going thrifting with friends and family. Diane enjoyed her time with her family more than anything. She was a kind soul, who would give the shirt off her back to help someone in need. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She will be deeply missed by those who loved her.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Ammons; her best friend, Jimmy Whaley, and her beloved dog, Baby Girl.

She is survived by her children, James (Amber) Tanner, Merissa Tyer, and William Johnson; grandchildren, Kalynn, Jayci, Rylea, Rebecca, Trudi, and William; great-grandchildren, Kora, and Braelyn; bonus family, Cheryl and Tim Lemon, Stefanie Tanner, and Ellie Jones; life-long friend, Gary Tanner; her beloved dog, Bookie; and her extended family.
