Diana Kennedy

Diana Jo Kennedy, 78, of North Canton, passed away on October 14, 2026

She was born on April 16, 1948 to the late Lorin and Virginia (Coates) Reiter in Canton, OH.

She was married to the late Lawrence J. Kennedy for 50 years at the time of his passing, and they had two children together. She lived the vast majority of that time in Massillon. Diana worked as an administrative assistant for Haines & Company for many years.

Diana is survived by her children Leslie (David) Barwick of Louisville, Ohio, and Jeffrey (Tiffany) Kennedy of North Charleston, South Carolina; her grandchildren Courtney Barwick, Chase Kennedy, and Myla Kennedy; and sister Linda Lees.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence.

Diana’s wishes were to be cremated. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 22, 2026 at 4:00 pm at Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon, Ohio with Jeff Sanders officiating. She will be laid to rest alongside Lawrence at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
