David Glenn Senften

David Glenn Senften, 79, of Massillon, passed away on August 23, 2026 at Aultman Hospital.

He was born on July 9, 1947 to the late Henry and Alice (Freudeman) Senften in Massillon, OH.

A 1965 Graduate of Washington High School, he earned his associate degree from Kent-Stark State College. He was a proud Vietnam veteran who served in the United States Army. David retired from the United States Postal Service. He was also proud of his time as an on Air Personality at WHBC Radio in the late 1960's. David loved to care for his home and family.

David is survived by his loving wife Carol (Sell) Senften; children Christopher D. (Teresa) Senften, Darren Senften, and Carrie (Matt) Competty; grandchildren Haley, Hannah, Kelsey, Gracen, Carter, Connor, and Mackson; brothers Timothy (Brita) Senften, Dean (Chloe) Senften and Ted Senften; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A private family gathering will be held at a later date
