David A. Robinson

Dave "Robo" Robinson passed away peacefully on July 11, 2026 after a courageous battle with a rare form of early onset dementia.

Dave's life was one of adventure, hard work, and deep love for his family. He married his lifelong best friend Jill on November 29, 1986.

Dave was a Tool & Die Maker and successful business owner of Pace Mold and Machine. He was a devoted and loving father to Sarah and Jessie, of whom he was fiercely proud.

He was a skilled and talented woodworker with a remarkable attention to detail. He worked tirelessly to make the family home beautiful and shared his talents with many others. Dave was always the first person to help someone in need, and the last to ask for help. He loved the outdoors and found solace in nature. He was an avid golfer and loved hunting and fishing.

Dave was a member of the West Side Athletic Club, Moose Lodge, Federal Order of the Eagles, and the Sons of Herman, and volunteered for many of their events. He also volunteered for the Massillon swim team for many years.

Dave is survived by his loving wife, Jill (Williams) Robinson, daughters Sarah (Zachary) Passwaters, and Jessica (Nathaniel) McNees, granddaughter Diana, and brother Robert (Karen) Robinson.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Elaine Robinson, and sister Jody Robinson.

A public gathering will take place at Living Water Church, 1135 Lincoln Way East, Massillon, on July 19th, 2026 from 3:00 to 5:00 PM. A private burial will take place at Brookfield Cemetery.
