Daryl Lee Keller

Daryl Lee Keller, age 74, of Massillon entered into Heaven peacefully at home after a long battle with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF).

He was born to Dale and Betty (Netzly) Keller in Massillon, Ohio on March 15, 1951, and lived his entire life in Massillon. Upon graduation from Perry High School in 1969, Daryl began work at Ohio Bell (now AT&T) and worked there 42 years before retiring in 2011.

In his retirement years Daryl enjoyed riding his motorcycle, attending his grandchildren’s events, and attending Gospel music concerts at local churches. He greatly loved RV camping and visiting The Outer Banks, North Carolina. Even in his last days he talked of wanting to make one last trip to an Ohio State Park. Daryl also enjoyed attending church services at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Massillon, Ohio and Still Waters Baptist Church in Nags Head, North Carolina.

Daryl was preceded in death by his parents Dale and Betty Keller. He is survived by his sons Brian Keller and Scott (Danyelle) Keller; his daughters Amanda (Jason) Fisher and Miranda (Thad) Boord; and his brothers David Keller and Larry (Lucy) Keller. Daryl was also blessed by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

To honor Daryl’s wishes, there will be no public calling hours or funeral. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Beacon Charitable Pharmacy in Canton, Ohio.
