Daniel L. "Danny" Hanna

Daniel L. 'Danny' Hanna, 72, of Massillon, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 30, 2023 at his residence. Daniel was born on January 17, 1951 in Canton, the son of Laura (Hanna) Albert. Danny was a 1969 graduate of Fairless High School. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War. Danny loved cars, especially his Mustang. He restored cars in his younger years. He used to build motorcycles as well. Danny enjoyed golfing with his brothers, and his friends. Most of all he loved his children, and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Laura Albert and grandmother, Minnie Hanna.

He is survived by his partner, Marcy Davis with whom he shared 31 years; children, Daniel L. (Christine) Hanna, Jr., Brandy L. (Teresa) Turner, Katie M. Hanna, David Jones, and Brandon (Stephanie) Davis; grandchildren, Bradley (Melissa) Linerode, Brittany (Tyler) Henderhan, Jaron Jones, Colten Swegheimer, Davie Mae Jones, and Piper Joleen Davis; brothers, Charles (Susie) Albert, and Ronald (Ellen) Albert; mother-in-law, Carolyn Fink; and numerous other family members.

Friends are invited to gather at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home on Sunday, July 9, 2023 from 1-3 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to: Mercy Hospice: 4369 Whipple Avenue NW, Canton, OH 44718.
