Dale A. Piper

Dale A. Piper, 71, of Massillon, Ohio, passed away October 15, 2026. He was born on April 26, 1955 to the late Donald and Rosanna (Rohr) Piper.

Dale was a 1974 graduate of Jackson High School. He enjoyed sharing stories of helping his Grandpa Andrew Rohr on the farm which later became Andyville Allotment. Dale lived there nearly all his life. He worked at Sugardale/Fresh Mark, and took great pride in working there for over 50 years. Dale was a devoted member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. His faith, family and work family were important to him. He was a generous man, always willing to lend a hand and be a friend to those who needed it.

In addition to his parents, Dale is preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Chris Ciccarone.

He is survived by his siblings, Connie M. Ciccarone and Roger (Anita) Piper; nieces and nephews, Christine, Anthony, Angie, Victoria and Andrew; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and his dear aunt, Betty McCauley.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Church (Divine Mercy Parish) some time in November, with details to come.
